For those folks driving Highway 67, be aware! The Highway Patrol are not fair and just.
It is a shame to be accused of excessive speeding when you weren’t. As a passenger in a car on Thanksgiving, driving in troop E’s area, following a car doing 72 miles an hour. We pulled over in the left lane. As we got side by side to the car we were passing, I looked at the speedometer, and we were doing 74 miles per hour, driving even with the car we were passing. We then noticed an unmarked state trooper with his lights off approaching us. He ended up pulling us over, writing us a ticket for doing 80 miles per hour! He said we were doing 83!!!
As a citizen, this is extremely unfair. Our Patrol Officers wonder why they get a bad wrap and are not liked or trusted. I now will have a different opinion of them.
